Mr. and Mrs. Porter - 5.20.23

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Margot and a boy named Ben.

Margot and Ben were both lovely people. They just hadn’t found that person who truly completed them yet.

With some encouragement (& help) from a friend, Margot joined Bumble.

One day, she matched with this cute guy named Ben. Because women make the first move on Bumble, Margot decided to swipe to accept the match to show her interest. In a huge coincidence, they both happened to be watching Marvel movies when they started chatting.

It didn’t take long for them to fall in love.

Ben was the kind of guy who would drive to help fix her light-up Minnie Mouse ears before she left on a trip to Disney, despite it being a complicated fix. Margot was the kind of girl that would spend an obnoxious amount of money on Star Wars themed rice krispie treats and Disney themed golf balls as a souvenir to bring back for him.

The sheer thoughtfulness they had for one another… it wasn’t surprising that they were making one another happier by the day.

Ben popped the question on a trip to Vegas at the end of 2021. With zero hesitation and a million tears of joy, Margot said YES!

It took them a little over a year to plan this beautiful wedding, but holy moly was it worth the wait.

In front of their closest family and friends, surrounded by one heck of a wedding party, Margot and Ben tied the knot this past weekend.

I can honestly say I have never witnessed so much joy or laughter at a wedding before. These two just light up around one another and everyone had a wonderful time.

Margot and Ben, thank you SO MUCH for having us be a part of such a fantastic day. We were honored to be able to capture it for you! Congratulations to you both!
